Last month, we had the privilege of participating in the enlightening AI Uncovered Event organised by Entrepreneurs Circle. This groundbreaking event provided a comprehensive introduction to the dynamic world of artificial intelligence (AI) and its transformative potential for businesses.

1. AI is not ChatGPT
Although ChatGPT has emerged this year as one of the best known AI tools, this is just the tip of the iceberg. There are a plethora of incredible AI tools available to maximise output, increase efficiencies, scale your sales process, improve your marketing, the list goes on and on.
To quote Nigel Botterill, AI is a tank… that most people are using to squish molehills!
2. AI will impact every industry
Depending on your sector it may not happen this year, it may not happen in 2024 but AI is coming and it’s better to stay ahead of the curve. We learned about industries including product photography and translation services already taking a huge hit as a result of AI products on the market, so it’s only a matter of time.
3. Don’t be afraid to play around with it
The biggest mistake is burying your head in the sand and hoping it never happens. AI is here and it is happening so we need to embrace it. There are plenty of tools, such as ChatGPT, that allow you to use them free of charge.
The key is to have a go, play with the functionality, you can’t break it and it’s all behind closed doors!
4. AI is only going to get better
The versions of the AI tools like Syntesia that can turn text into bespoke videos for your business are at the worst they will ever be – and they are already very impressive. The pace of change with AI is phenomenal and that only means the platforms we are using today are just going to get better and better.
5. To get the best results you need to be specific
A big part day was about AI priming, which allows you to tailor AIs outputs according to your requirements. By specifying a context or giving a particular instruction, users can get responses that fit their needs, making the AI model more useful and efficient.
